Same deal with the book, which sits crooked on the back. It looks awful to have the bear spinning around you in a vertical orientation, only to have it 'pop' onto your back smaller and at an angle.
Also, unlike the book which spins in your hands while casting flaming barrage, flaming breath or any other lock-on skills, the bear sits flat on your back. You can see me trying to get it to spin a few times in the video before realizing it won't work
My biggest complaint is the enchantment aura. The bear isn't a disc, and I can't imagine this would be overly difficult to implement
Time is money my friend... do you have a job? If you do, you know what I'm talking about.
Have you seen MMO's economies getting devastated by this weird bug called "inflation" ?
Listen up... this is just the first step... first the weapon skins, now Chrono Scrolls (not mentioning the mount because far as I know you can't trade that one), if they see that the community is accepting the fact that these items can be sold in-game after purchasing it with money, they will just keep filling their "premium services" with more items.
Today is just Chronoscrolls.... ok you can just buy 2 per week, that won't cause a great inflation impact.... but tomorrow u will have available many more items that you will be able to buy to resell in-game afterwards, now that plus the amounts of players that will start doing it... you still think it will be positive for the economy of the game in future?
You guys accepting premium items to be sold in-game, is the first step to ruin the future of the in-game economy of the game; don't come to the forums later asking EME to fix the [filtered] you are accepting and being part of.
Good lord, MMOs really bring out the tinfoil-hat crazies don't they?
But it isn't the big number people hoped for I don't think either. Kyo is right, I think most people that are left playing the game are people that bought bulk subs, and since the scrolls can only be sold once it's not like you can sit on a stack and one day sell them for more.
the 5k-9k is a rate based on the cash shop items people buy from the broker so far 10usd on broker is avg 1-3k so dont get ur hopes up
also 1k is e z to ffarm in 1 hour keep that in mind, selling the scrolls will we usless at this point in the game
Those two things aren't directly comparable though, since weapon skins don't have any application beyond cosmetics. Chrono scrolls replace a real fee you would have had to pay otherwise, weapon skins are a luxury item
The weakness in this system to me is that players who have unsubscribed need to resubscribe in order to buy a chrono scroll off the broker. I don't know how they would address this (maybe a 1-3 day free period for returning players), but we're not going to be able to capitalize on returning players until next month at the earliest
If you can't fix teleport, please give us a different escape solution
You have backstep, glacier retreat and stoneskin. We mystics only have teleport :(
This is the reason I have started to keep scroll of dash in my hotkey bar along with speed pots and using both fleetfoot and swift crystals (-stun duration earrings are also required to run out of the aoe after getting pulled).
If I'm out of combat (read: I didn't use my stun recently), speed pot will be enough. If I'm in combat, I need to pop dash scroll and hope I don't get targeted again while it's on cd.
Well the idea of removing teleport for balance reasons is another discussion entirely
The point is we have it, and it doesn't work
One thing I've found that works pretty well is coming to a complete stop before I teleport. As long as I'm not moving, I haven't had any issues.
But that adds an extra beat to the cast time and that can be a pretty significant delay if Kaprima feels like doing an instant spin
I don't know why I expected them to drop at midnight
But I did and now I'm disappointed
It's confusing how many people are legitimately angry about the split
As we get the zones more balanced we can perform just as well in each with less lag for everyone. Having 150 people standing on the outskirts of the Nexus in Khanovar doesn't help anybody, so why not do it this way?
I think it's a great idea, and I'm glad the experiment has been working. Thanks for taking the initiative on this, and a big thank you to all the guilds who came in to make it happen
Egg hunts, how exciting. I'm really glad that EME is spending their time on egg hunts instead of fixing things like enchanting, crafting, and bosses in the end game dungeons.
Except people have been clamoring to have the eggs back since the end of closed beta. You must be new here.
You like high 30's quests giving less xp than low 20 ones and no other rewards? Repeatables that give next to nothing worth while? BAM quests that serve no purpose?
Then bring them back. Properly, along with boxes and un-ruined repeatables. Or provide proper replacement. Crappy event is not that.
No. I like this better.
They'd said they were looking into the quest system, alt boosters, enchanting changes, crafting changes, and everything else you've mentioned. Most of these changes are being done by the NA development team back in Korea. Some big changes should be coming this summer.
But changes on that scale take significant time, balance, and quality testing. In the meantime, En Masse is running events like this to do something new. Events like this don't detract from efforts being made to make the changes you're talking about
