Outside of the graphics and the combat, some of the little things. I take breaks come back for a bit. Take a break, come back. Every time i come back I find another little thing that screams at me and makes me say, why the hell hasn't anyone else done this yet?

For example this time it is mounts. Why the hell do other games make it so hard to get on and off your mount? Even some of the other games i play mounting is instant, but you still pause in place for a second while you do it. Not Tera you can mount up on the run, with out breaking stride. It is beautiful.
The longest part for me was 40-45 by 48 things were moving nicely and by 52 it was all down hill. Just dont get depressed by the 40-45 slowdown and yer golden!
As someone above said, I like them and they are funny. Until I find 2 or 3 of the same then it is just being lazy.

For example in a quest about a fellow who looses his horse in a rain storm. Find Georges Wet Horse is much less fun the Riders of The Storm.

And Find Gorges Horse becomes much better 5 Riders of the Storm quest later.

RIFT is the
Like it or not, Rift has set a standard in many people's minds. Other MMOs would do well to try to meet or exceed that standard if they want to satisfy a maximum number of customers.

And TERA is no where close to being "average" in the amount of content it has. It is below average at best; abysmally low at worst. I adore this game and even I can admit that.

I would actually disagree. If any MMO since rift had continued the trend then yes I agree. But none have. So it hasn't set any standard it is just a single example.

You statement is like saying Tera has set the standard on how combat in an MMO should be. Until others look at it and copy it, it is just a single example not a standard at all.

On a related note my gf left a couple months ago because of this rash I have.

It has cleared up. Do you think she will come back?
Makes me glad I'm a Mystic. Even if they messed up my shoulders Id just get some feathers in the face.

I actually like buying stuff, so I guess I will say no. Make a fun game I enjoy playing, and I will pay for all the little extra little doodads you sell that I find interesting.

Make a crappy game (Im looking at you big D) I don't like or just sell crap I think is stupid. No monies for yous!

So now I just have to decide which this is...
It seems to be an idea I first saw in Rift. A massive outside kill big mobs with lots of people free for all.

and if it follows the pattern as Rift everyone will be zerging them for months to come as they are new fun and exciting (and give free lewts!). Causing lag and computer crashes everywhere!

Then one day no one will be doing them and they will become pointless and new people will ask what do those marks on the maps mean? And people will answer nothing ignore them.

For the love of all that is holy, Someone save the nexus!!
I have to agree. Vanarchy housing would be sort of dumb. I mean the fun of having a house or a guild house is decking it out. Seems like I am voting every other day. Who is going to waste time on a house that they only have for a few days?
I guess my only question is why did you title your thread The good and the Increasingly bad?

I mean after reading your OP I dont really see anything that has been getting worse. The only thing that has really changed since launch is the Vanarchy and that they are trying to make better.

So i guess shouldnt it be The bad and the Increasingly Good? Or at least The Bad and the Increasing attempts at the Good?
