Please don't remove player shops!! These are a super cool feature :C
/signed. Please remove this stupid feature. Never have I gotten denied entry to a group, even being a tank, because I'm "too high of level" even though I'm 2 levels over the recommended limit. Laaaaame feature is lame.
I'm curious what happened to them as well. I thought it was a great idea but I think it should be more highly advertised as being in the game. Seems really neat.
Well if it fails in KR/JP high chances are it will be removed here eventually.
Were you able to actually change the keybinds on the original bar from 1 though = as well though? I thought that bar alone was missing the customization options. If not then that's good to hear.
So you felt your argument was so special it garnered ANOTHER thread all of it's own? Your argument is opinion-based and flawed. WoW's devs themselves stated LFD caused problems in the game world where all players are based in cities and the actual world is completely dead. Deny it all you want but even Blizzard has admitted LFD was a mistake in many ways. It gave the game temporary high subs with WotLK but killed the long-term community.

If you put a donut and some brocolli in front of a hungry human, theres a better chance he is going to go for the donut than the brocolli.

Is the brocolli better for him? Is he going to get mroe nutrients out of the brocolli? Yes to both but yet that human still reaches for the donut.

People will use the LFG tool because its there, they don't think about how they better not use it so that the server can have a better community. The cause and effect is not instant and its not completely direct so we just choose for the easy method.

The LFD tool hurts community feel, it allows people to be lazy and it does affect other elements of the game like OWPvP and just in general being more community based game. People sitting in cities waiting for their queue to pop are people that would otherwise be traveling to the dungeon and being susceptible to PvP. because of that any argument that says it doesn't hurt OWPvP is invalid because I just gave an example of how it does.

This really sums up the issue perfectly. Log into WoW and the world is COMPLETELY dead. ZERO world PvP even on the most hardcore/populated PvP realms. Why? Dungeon finder. Seriously. It kills the game world, not to mention the aspect of community and reputation.
Correct me if I'm wrong but, while playing beta I didn't see any way to change the default hotkeys from 1-0 on the skillbar. Am I just that clueless and I just completely missed it? If not, I want to create a petition to get this changed before beta, people will rip this game a new one if you can't even have custom hotkeys.
I don't get why an LFD tool would be added to a game where open world PvP and community is so important. LFD WILL kill the open world's population and activity. Blizzard has stated themselves that LFD caused this problem of "stand in town and queue all day" and part of their next expansion is to remedy that. Why would EME/Bluehole make the SAME mistake that Blizzard has stated they made? While yes, it DOES make grouping faster, convenience is not always conducive to the health of an MMORPG community. We already have a party board system that allows you to look at all parties and find one that fits your needs.

I played WoW for 6 years. I played from Vanilla to Cata. I saw what happened to the community after LFD was added. Players who say it didn't have an effect on the community clearly never played before LFD was added. The world became dead. World PvP died. The community died and many PvE guilds slowly died. I stopped being able to make as many dungeon friends anymore. Battlegrounds became anonymous "grind for your honor gear" fests. It USED to matter. You USED to be able to get excited when you grouped with certain players. Now, it's all just anonymous. Totally ruins the point of MMOs.
From someone who has played WoW for 6 years and saw the community before and after LFD was added: it ruined the game. It will ruin Tera. We will be sitting in Veilka all day and the game will get old fast. Don't believe me? That's fine. There's always GW2 once this game dies.
