Well, it's nice that they are doing events at least. No one is forcing them. And with 60ish people it's hard to keep track of what everyone is doing at all times. If your group leader said 'go' then that's on them.

This event was of course about money, but also about fun. I could see a valid concern if it was a collection of Tera's most well-geared combatants, but it wasn't. Some people had terrible gear and some had decent gear while others did have very good gear.

There wasn't a runner-up match which there was supposed to be, but I'm still fine with that as a lot of people said there was some GvG action going on.

Personally I had a lot of fun and met a few awesome people. I look forward to more events :)

Weeeeelllp. I've mde several attempts to contanct each of the three of you including mail by the post. Oh well. Figured there would be an informal briefing or something to discuss the game plan if any.

So what exactly determines who is the master race? Barakas have a longer left arm than their other which means they give slightly better hugs (among other things).

As the title states I'm newly 60 and have already had a taste of BG and I love it. Looking for people to run AC, ToT, NT, etc as well as Bg's. I'm not insanely hardcore, but winning is always fun. Looking for somewhat knowledgable people who know how to have fun but are somewhat respectful. I can have a crude sense of humor at times but I must express my disdain for people who spout off f 4 g g 0 t all day long or other slurs of that degree. That's really my only reservation.

As you could also surmise I'm hardly geared for any of this. If that's isn't an issue then feel free to hit me up if you need a Priest. I'm EST but my availability is a bit all over the place. Also I'm a Baraka if that makes any difference (differently sized hands/arms FTW!)

Is it bad that I consider a Priest's success in a duel to be just surviving?

For the record our unevenly sized arms is a undeniable mark of superiority. Baraka for life!

Welcome to TERA. For my 2 cents on the Healing classes in TERA since you mentioned both. As far as healing is concerned Priest is a very safe route as far as general and burst healing, whereas Mystic is equally good in other ways but can't cope as well with healing burst dmg.

Also in BG's (Battlegrounds which is a 15v15 PvP arena if you aren't familiar) Priests are seemingly harder to kill if caught than a mystic would be. But there are many pros and cons. Some new Priest buffs are on their way which is nice.

Mystic is well liked for its ability to give mana back in a reliable way to the dps that so greatly need it.

Really debates still go on and people have their preferences. Currently I belive that there is a slight lean towards mystics in dungeons and in the Upcoming 3v3 BG as well, but with the incoming Priest buffs who knows what will happen.
