Yokura's Post History

There are some good Free to Hue players I'm sure... .. I think. (where did you get free to hue by the way, it's hilarious but are there really that many foreigners on the island or somethiing)
Cute. Interesting enough, I am prettty sure it won't work too well but I could try ahaha.
You're not being cynical, well maybe you are. But you are correct. It is a marketing tactic, similar to putting ads on places where your products will be seen. The question is, are you okay with this tactic?

Personally I think it's okay. Sure, it'd feel better if I could somehow know EME was giving out these emp credits out of nothing but the goodness of their heart and all the fuzzy feelings But it probablllyyy is a beneficial/profitable thing for them to do.

I think EME is doing a pretty good job at handling things thus far. Not really good, but good enough to keep me around and see if they get better or worse at managing their population and problems.

The most irritating part of queueing is probably how the line keeps going backwards, not forwards. Founders getting priority sounds reasonable. Going from 30th place in queue to 100th place in queue, not so much. Personally, I think if the queue time estimations were actually accurate, it would be a lot less irrtating to many players. On the start of official service, a 40minute queue usually meant a 40 minute queue (Give or take 5-10 minutes, but not 2 hours), and your position in line would never go DOWN.

Help out the newbies a little, Tera is a great game, and it's not as though they're doing anything wrong by wanting to play. The only real complaint I'm seeing is that the queue feels like an amusement park ride line. Only, 80% of the people there have special year round passes that let you cut to the front of the line anytime you want.

From a new person's point of view, that's pretty brutal. Having two queue lines would probably amount to the same queue wait time, but would feel a lot less cheated.
Server merged a while back. The characters with _something to their name was probably the name of the server it was originally on. _FV = the character originally came from Feral valley, or something like that.

I'm assuming the pvp servers merged to one server, pve to another. Mount Tyrannas and Tempest Reach respectively. If you had more than 8 characters combined on multiple pvp servers, they probably all went to the one pvp server after the merge so... yea..

You'll have to rename all the characters that got moved. So if you click on a character and it's currently named Heyseus_BW, the first time you attempt to go on the character, it will prompt you to pick a name for it.

Does that all make sense? It's 3am and I'm not sure why I'm still up ;_;

General F2P perspective:
We are new players who will help this game because this game is slowly dying from the amount of people playing it. The founders aren't enough to keep the game alive, and we're here for that. We want to play the game like many others, but the founders have priority queue and it's making it very hard to play. We will also contribute to this game and will spend money on it when we believe it is fun enough/worth it. Many of us came here because of a friend, and there's no point in playing this game if we can't even play together. If the priority queue was gone, it would be more fair because founders already have a lot of benefits.

General founders perspective:
We're tired of hearing F2P players raging at us about queue times when we didn't really do anything to them. EME gave us priority because we supported the game for a long time and it's a token of their appreciation. We are defensive because we are old players who just wants to play like we normally do, but the new players are trying to take this away from us to accommodate for their population. Yes, there are many F2P players who will spend money on this game, but there will be many who won't. Us founders on the other hand already spent money on this game. Many of us still has an active subscription and we don't want to waste it.

From what I see, adding the new servers didn't really help a large chunk of the F2P population, and taking away any benefits from founders would cause an uproar. The only thing EME can do at this point is to either up the server capacity, add in a DC from game timer (if it's even possible), or just wait it out and let us argue with each other until the population dies down. Seriously, there aren't that many options if the problem is the population size.

This is the best post on the entirety of the forums and for that I praise you.

I second this.
I feel like this video accurately describes this suggestion. Yes the lag times are terrible and it's irritating... but a new server is a little bit extreme..

What we want:
You. Cookies. Winning Lottery Numbers.

[Seven]

I like you already. Winning the Lotto is the best. Best of luck to your guild :3
I thought the fun part of PvP in Tera is that the players decide how to deal with outlaws. If people don't feel like going after you, then they don't go after you. If you wanna go after someone, go at it. I think the current outlaw system is relatively fine. Let's the community decide instead of having a bunch of rules for PvP.

Although the getting infamy cause some nub decided to run into your fireball is stupid. But hey. Guess I should watch out abit more cause attacks ARE truely AOE.
