Vampires,
Shara created them just as the other races were dreampt up by Arun. I would like to see it as a playable race, and I feel with a bit of effort they can be introduced without so much distaste as other games have.
They could easily fit into the darkened lands surrounding poporia.
Of other choices I would say: Prion, Half Elves, and Dark Elves (explained below).
Dark Elves could be the remnants of early elven cultures, the one who were abandoned by the faction that calles themselves "High Elves" now. Once different only by choice of lifestyle, now different by biology in that they had chosen the depths of Aborea as a haven. Pale, and in some cases gray, coarse flesh, black/white hair, fangs, slight claws and cat like eyes; darkened beauty. I could see them joining Valkyon to spite their High Elven cousins, and would get along quite well with Castanics in some principals.
Dark Elves in this sense also would be still rooted in nature, though in a perverse manner, perhaps worshipping nature itself to such a point that the lives of others meant nothing next to that of a tree's, or other such thing--however the things threatening Arborea that Valkyon stands against would appeal to what little reason they do have. Moreso chaotic, and inclined to evil behaviors in the name of their sacred ways, very vengeful, loathing creatures.
