Of all the "issues" facing this game, surely this has to be one of the least important?

You don't expect them in other MMOs, so why here? They are an irritating relic of a Korean MMO bygone era where auction houses were not developed yet.

Whether you can disable them from view is irrelevant - they simply are not needed, and like any other feature that is unnecessary, they are cut - end of story.

Yes, I am. Without pet shops you won't have to click around 30 shops until you find the item you were looking for. Have you ever played Maplestory? Boy, I was wasting hours in the Free Market just clicking on shops to find something I wanted. And you know what's worse? It's not even guaranteed you'll find it. At least with AH, it only takes a minute to check if an item you want is there or not. Now, you will probably say just use ''AH'' then. Well, that's true, however, with pet shops in, it will be less used, therefore, it will be harder to find something you want there.

This will apply to BAMs mainly from what I understand.

BOP will allow EME to make gear drops better without allowing players to farm gear and flodd the market hurting the game economy.

BOP is being implemented to help players and is a good idea.

which was the main part of my original point. The only people who dislike bop's are the people that want to take it to sell it not to use it. There is no other reason to get upset over this lol. And if you're pissed because some one of the same class rolls on it and they get it to bad. Maybe you will get it next time that's how it works this game isn't about hand outs if thats what you want op go back to WoW :D

Bop is only a turn off to people who like to roll and take gear to sell even if it's not meant for them, it's really sad it's people like you who make mmos horrible some one might need that gear and all you care about is making some gold. I'm pretty happy they are removing them. Its pretty disgusting to walk into a city or small town to see a cluster [filtered] of "stores". Its also another avenue for RMT to spam their gold selling sites and it makes the act of buying gold much easier.

I hope they don't back out and put them back in.

BOP changes. I agree here. I want people who get the best items to earn it through skill not gold. Shouldn't be able to buy the best items no matter how much gold you have. Facilitates RMT.
