sorry, but... NO.

Zerkers are underpowered, yes. But in battlegrounds, thats no excuse. You have to charge your Spin2win , unleash it in middle of 10 people, and laugh at how you take everyone's half hp with a single spell.

Also, i dont know who was the genius that came up with the idea of giving zerkers a 10-second long AOE fear. It was proved broken in AION, where spiritmasters (or fearmasters, as people called them) could just break havoc spamming their fear.

Please, i support you on complaints of overall zerker uselessness. But in battlegrounds, they are top-tier characters, pretty much at the level of slayers, if not better.

Other class have equally as good, safer, and lower CD CC effect to incapacitate targets. Not saying that the fear is not devastating if used correctly, but its not any different then being perma-incapacitated by low CD stuns and sleep that some other classes have. It is more like an 8 sec fear on double the CD of most incapacitating effects.

As far as spin-to-win goes that normally results a quick teleport stun/sleep followed by a nuke to the face.... TY please come again. I use it a lot mind you but more often then not it gets interrupted and gets me killed. Just my experience.

I have a pretty good handle on the class mechanics and what our role is unfortunately i don't have a premade group who focuswa around keeping me effective which seems to be what everyone says I am missing. Honestly the main issues seems to be lack of cures perhaps from healers. I agree with the statement that we need to have weakness the problem is that we have way more then any other class. We need a whole group of other class to be able to do anything with the over abundance of spam-able crowd control effect on the battlefield. That is just broken.

The main issue is being slowed for me. We have Armor, High Balance, Temp Stun resistance, but we are completely shutdown when slowed and we have nothing to combat it and it is one of the most predominate Crowd Control effect on the battlefield. Being slowed to a running in place state on the already slowest least mobile class in the game is a game breaking issue. Keeping up with and hitting ever other class is difficult enough while not slowed and almost impossible when we are. Even with Blood Lust its not like we are immune to incapacitates I still get slept and stun locked with it up. We need a way to reduce slow % on us or remove it all together for a window of time allowing us to actually have some functionality on our own with out being completely dependent on a Blue Buff or pocket Healer.

I understand that many of you have your click groups that you run with and the Berserker operates great it them, but you are are not the majority. I would like to add the fact the Berserker was touted as a Siege Breaker someone who goes in an engages the enemy and breaks their line. Hiding back in the corners of the fights and waiting to assassinate low health targets was not the meta game play the class was suppose to be performing. Although it seems that is what it sole function has become.

Im a Berzerker. I stay in the top 3 ranks in every BG, and win 75% of them, because I queue with 4 friends who know what they're doing, and as a group we wreck the competition.

If you're a solo player, you simply shouldn't have made a Zerk. You need a healer who can dispell you, a lancer/warrior to peel for you and your healer, a sorc for area denial, and a slayer/archer to help burst down targets. That's how you function as a group, and without one a Zerk is indeed bad.

This is pretty much the conclusion I have come to. As you have said the Berserker can't function without a dedicated group to keep them on rails so to speak, but then again why would you even want to play a class that has to be babied like that to even be considered playable. The conclusion I have already come to and your comment pretty much displays how broken the Berserker is. So what they meant when they said that the Berserker excell's at group pvp is that the Berserker needs to be spoon fed kills on a silver platter and then it seems like they are useful, but deep down you know you are a just Kill Stealing moucher.

Anyways if the community is content with the Berserker in that kind of role who am I to rock the boat.

LoLz Awesome pic.

This is not playing solo though. This is team effort in a battle where Berserker are completely eliminated from the equation simply by being slowed. Every other class in the game has a gap closer of some kind, in most case multiple, to counter act the massive amount of slowing and other CC's that several class bring to the field. The only hope you have of getting to a target is if someone else get there and hold them long enough for your to trudge over there slowed through Stuns, Sleeps, and Knockbacks and hit them. If you get caught in one blizzard you are pretty much done for combat effectiveness forget multiple, forget being perma-stunned, forget the ridiculous mobility of most other classes in the game that we were on the short end of the stick for 1v1's.

I have tried and look at everything available to me in the class and items and there is nothing to counteract a simple slow on the Berserker. You might as well be rooted.
This is only coming from a Berserkers stand point. So more mobile classes probably dont feel it as much. Was fun to start with, but rolling against a team of lancers, sorcs, and archers just result in an AOE, SLOW, STUN Ranged nightmare. All you have to do is slow the Berserker and he is completely out of commission, but why stop there when you can be perma-stunned and pulled into blizzards/rain of arrows while your at it. Crowd Control pretty much destroys any strategy or skill this game may have brought to a battlegrounds scenario.

Flame away but there is no skill involved in that style of game play and certainly no fun to be had while it is staple strategy for winning.
You use a modifier key such as Shift, Ctrl, Alt.

Now you have 48 buttons. :D

We are always looking into various aspects in the game which includes enchanting. This is a tricky one because it affects the economy so much, but yes we are monitoring and getting the trends whether it be from the forums, support tickets or our game data.

I don't know when we will get the berserker fix or when we will consider freeing up the inactive names. But we do know folks are attached to the character names, so please be assured that we won't forget the topic.

Yes, we are aware of the fact that crystals are more difficult to come by than we'd like and we have a few ideas. :)

First I would just like to say its great to see someone being allowed to reach out to the community finally and answer some question even if they are not the answers we want to hear. Knowing that we are not just sitting here beating on 1 way glass hoping someones is in the dark room on the other side is nice.

That being said. I personally really feel like this game was pushed out a good year before it was ready and sadly is going to have a huge falling out before it really had a chance to launch. I don't know the relationship between BHS and Enmasse and either company’s capabilities for development, but they are inadequate at best right now. This is not helped by the communication lock down that I have experienced since CBT1.

For starters this is the only MMORPG that I have ever played where there is no Test Server. The Development team isn't utilizing a vast resource, the player base. We can test your changes and find your glitches 1000x more efficiently then you ever could. This is proven time and time again that even the craftiest, cleverest, most thought out nerfs, buffs, or glitches by developers are overcome, exploited, or found by the thousands of players looking for that one loophole you didn't see in the tiniest nook of logic or code.

I have never understood the logic behind NDA Testing and Non-commutative development teams. It’s like you’re afraid that your ideas will be rejected and then take it personally so you keep it a secret until you shove it down the playerbase’s throats. Your lack of communication and involvement with your community is putting a severe handicap on your games potential and revenue. Instead of blockading information from the community you should be using us as a sounding board.

You would be surprised how calm and responsive we can be if you keep us in the loop and we see real progress being made and we feel like we are a part of it. For instance there is nothing more frustrating than starting CBT1 and being told as a Berserker,” Don’t worry everything balances out at 60” and then 3 months and 28 levels later it doesn’t. The developer then finally acknowledges there is an issue, but,” I don't know when we will get the berserker fix”. I am out of the loop as far as I’m concerned I see no notable progress from release notes and this fix might as well be christmas. Meanwhile all this time I have spent playing this class has been for a pay off that has not come. We get kicked from groups for endgame content because of a stigma that we can't compete with other DPS classes and then we share loot with the holier-than-thou Lancers. That is incredibly frustrating experience.

Like I said I'm not sure if it is broken or not, but there is defiantly something not right with it. Be it the description or an effect that is not working. I have noticed the Impact Factor increase
Yeah just went back an check it again I have Stun (Resist) = 39.

Should go up to 58.5 with that ability active and it stays at 39.

One thing I will say about Rift at least the developers were active with the community and testing. Tera there is literally an Iron Curtain shrouding any hope of this game getting fixed.
