Sorry if my post came across as snotty, you seem a bit offended by it, that wasn't my intention, I was just trying to keep things on topic. Also another point, I'm suggesting that the glow only be applicable to +12 weapons which means any glow other than red except for reverting back to blue or pink/purple would indicate a +12 weapon. That'd make things pretty easy to identify and keeps things about the same as they are now except for people "sandbagging" by changing +12 weapons back to +7 glows, but when you think about it, this is already in place with armor, I can remod my warrior's +9 fraywind tunic to a lower tier of gear and other pvpers have no idea what my armor setup is like. I don't really see how weapon glows are any different.
So let me get this right, you suggest an idea about a topic and other people cant suggest their thoughts/ideas. So this post should be only what you care about. Let me quote your OP title "weapon glow idea". Maybe you should have titled it "Special weapon glow acquired through cash-shop or/and in-game, idea." And by the way i think is a terrible idea, at least this way i know what my opponent is using whitout the needs of /inspect him. You could have a shiny green glow on your crappy +7 or on your ultimate +12 no way to tell just by the looks, extremely unuseful in BG/Arenas (incoming).
Thanks for the idea though. :)
