A craftable with significant effect becomes mandatory, defeats the purpose of having a cool craftable in the first place, forces people to spend even more time farming to get an item that they only have to use because everyone else is using it.. BUT here's the difference between that and gear - it is completely separate from character progression.

We should just take away weapons, armor, spells and anything that can be used to give an edge in combat. Only naked combat with everyone at 100 HP seems fair.
Oh..... but then when you die you will complain about LAG, computer builds and then you will find something else to [filtered] about too.
