draakdorei's Post History

No official word on Volley of Curses.

Pets are going away in favor of totems.
Silent Warriors always seems to have an event going on and their guild is likely one of the most active on the server.

On the Oceanic side of the world...Duality is likely your best bet for a highly active, if somewhat crowded (had 300 members at launch and consistently over 200), guild. I don't know how many guild events they do...they aren't quite as vocal about their events as Silent Warriors.

There are no "raids" in this game currently. The raid coming up in the next patch is opened up by Nexus groups.

The best gear (currently) for level 60 PVE is dungeons.

For PVP, it is the Nexus and then post-patch, it will be battlegrounds.

I was only a day late of getting them and whats wrong with people not wanting others being able to get them plus who wants to pay $10 for each skin that's ripping people off.Who and where did you see that the next update is gonna be black dragon skins I don't see it anywhere.Oh and if you're not here to help get the Golden Dragon Weapon Skins please don't post you're just making it harder for me to get them and I should beable to get them I had to buy this game twice cause of crappy gamestop's version wouldn't work.

The offer was extended to a full month after the game went live. There's no reason that anyone should be able to get the same benefits (i.e. golden dragon skins and discounted rates) for being late to the party.

The skins were a Founder's Gift to those of who wanted the game immediately and subbed the first month.

If Gamestop's version didn't work, you should've taken it back for a refund.

No. Leave them as a special marker of people who were here first.
Collector's Edition items are Account-wide. You can use them on all characters and claim them as many times as you want (although the necklace/ring is the only one you need more than one of on a single character).

Masterworking can be achieved on any superior item (unless stated otherwise) by using the enigmatic scrolls. Currently, the best shot is to use the Master Enigmatic Scrolls that drop from instances to get a golden "?" instead of the normal silver on the item, when you get this gold "?" you have a higher (minimal chance period) chance to proc a masterwork. From here you must use the costlier identification scroll from the general merchant, the 52g one, the name escapes me at the moment.

Once you achieve masterwork on the superior item, from what I understand and have been told it will stay on as long as you use Master Enigmatic Scrolls to reset the bonus stats, the regular scrolls will wipe the masterwork off it.

Masterwork items let you enchant past the +9 limit to +12, you get bonuses at each level however. With weapons you'll get + power each consecutive level, and + endurance with armor. The base stats and bonus stats below +10 will also get a boost, so 8% atk speed becomes 8.5% atk speed etc.

My sources are generally compiled information from whats in game, what I've read on forums and from friends who have made masterwork items in-game, so if there is any incorrect information I apologize.

I don't have a definitive answer for you on that one...but I would say, add the retail game key at the end of your 7 days. That would give you the full 37 days.
I would also send a ticket in to the GMs and let them know that you aren't able to start playing yet. Take a screenshot as well; that'd likely help your case.

Thanks for the advice. However, what do you mean when I "hit endgame?" Do you mean before exiting the game, or is that some sort of area/zone? Sorry, probably a total noob question. ;)

Also, I wound up going with Elin and becoming an archer. Today was supposed to be productive, but after spending close to two hours on character creation, and then once I finally made it into the world I just couldn't stop playing last night. I finally stopped around 6:30AM after reaching level 12 and making it into Velika.

"End game" means hitting level 60 and starting the level 60 dungeons and their hard mode equivalents.

You'll also be able to participate in Nexus, daily quests and battlegrounds (when they arrive) by 60.

The guild reference is because you'll want to avoid PUG (pick-up groups, random player groups) when entering the 60 dungeons, especially hard modes where refined teamwork is much more important (to avoid death and full group wipes).
