This is too obvious for the average player on TERA to figure out.
Let them zerg and fail and QQ about it, who cares? Nexus is garbage anyway - its a non-issue.
I know how to fix the lag, make people learn how to split in groups of 20 and not 100 and go to their poper nexus portal!
I think its well planned out event, just majorty of the players in the servers don't know how to do it!

Tenkuro I have seen threads where people all posted their locations in relation to the TERA servers, and whatever is causing it, is not related to your location compared to the servers location - it has nothing to do with the Route you are taking through the internet to access the servers, really. (Although seperate issues have been known about since the first closed beta test that were related to your location in relation to the servers, this isnt)

Not really. Where are you located and where are your guildies located? If they are near Chicago, obviously it doesn't take as much resources for them to get good ping.

(If you are on Windows 7)
Do me a favor - run TERA, then CTRL ALT DELETE once to bring up Task Manager, click the Performance tab, the click Resource Monitor, then click Network tab, then go down to TCP connections, find TERA.exe, scroll the bar to the right and look at Latency(ms).
If it shows a dash, then go back to the game and play for a while before going back to Resource Monitor and checking the ping. (Do this outside of an instance, then check it after running around in a level 60 instance for a bit. I was not able to confirm any change in my latency to the game - however there was OBVIOUSLY skill-lag. What this proves, is that the skill-delay lag that I was experiencing was happening on their end, not mine.)
Ask your friends what their Latency is on Tera.exe as well, while you are in a 60 instance with them.

They need to remove the change they implemented when they made it so that it requires less players in a zone to create a new channel in that zone --- I believe that is what suddenly created the lag everyone outside of dragonfall is still experiencing.
(Dont ask me why its not as bad on dragonfall, the most crowded server, because I really dont know I can only speculate)

i have instance lag ocasionally. for me its 100% predictable. if my LFD party is 100% dragonfall, no lag. if im with people from other servers, i'll have lag. its never -that- bad for me though

For those of you who like to post before reading.
IF YOU HAVE NO INSTANCE LAG - your probably on Dragonfall server.
If you are level 60, and you can run FoK / BT / ToT with no latency slow-down compared to outside of the instance, and you are NOT on dragonfall server, (and your norm is not already bad outside of instances)... then post here and prove me wrong! Although I seriously doubt anyone on any other server is NOT lagging in level 60 instances outside of Dragonfall server. (Since last patch)
