Got ya covered Pale, and yes, I actually think the server is growing, shutting down community sites like that is kinda ridiculous, don't create if you can't continue to support!

Seems like sore grapes to me. Grats on starting another Blightwood site, but I've ran fan sites before and it's fully within a person's right to no longer pay/support their site. You have no right to judge them for looking out for themselves, besides that they paid for a domain name and site.

I understand some people are upset over it, but get over it. Things change. People change. Priorities change. You say "...don't create it if you can't continue to support!". Does this mean you will be on your new Blightwood site for as long as Tera is running? Can you 100% promise that? No, you cannot. You cannot predict how long you will play Tera, or how long Tera will be around. Facts are facts. Things change.

I left Tera before Blightwood (the site) died, I loved that place. Every active guild master and most active players were on there. I made plenty of friends outside my guild from that site. But, Blightwood changed and if you don't at least recognize that...well you're wearing blinders.

If you still enjoy playing Tera on Blightwood that's fine, but don't piss on others because they stopped enjoying it. It's their time, their money and their life. Every major guild is either gone or barely active:

Kings Destroyers
First Generation
Warlords
Crux
Eminence
Death and Taxes
Grievance
Actium
Cutie Mark (who merged with Conviction)
Conviction

The list goes on and on. Sure there are people still playing on Blightwood, and that's all fine. But don't piss on people who changed their minds. They are entitled. But, since you seem so sure of yourself playing Tera forever. I look forward to see if your site is still active in three months...or even one month. As odd as it may sound, I do wish the people of Blightwood luck. But, I don't care for the pissing on people who left or aren't playing anymore. They are within their right and honestly you just sound like sore grapes.

With this game bleeding players already, I can't believe EME would not fix issues like this. We are losing players each week and EME are focusing on things players don't care about. I had such hope for this game, and they drop the ball like this.
Actium currently owns Bastion and Incendia decided to run against us this coming Vanarch round. But, instead of going by vote they decided to go with GvG. It's clear this was the only way they were going to win, last go around Actium received 54% of the server vote.

So, what does Incendia do the first night Vanarch GvG is active? They all hide inside towns. We met Noelle (Incendia GM) in town and offered to go a straight up 5 on 5 Death Match to decide the winner of Bastion. But, Noelle declined. Later on that night we caught one of their members in Fortress and DURING THE FIGHT the member (Zozo) /gquits and turns white. What a classy move.

The next morning (Saturday) we notice that Incendia's guild member numbers went down. Before they were listed with about 100 members. As of now they are listed under 60 members. Where did the members go you say? Apparently, Incendia created an alt guild Happy Tree Friends and they moved ALL THEIR ACTIVE members into that guild. The only characters left in Incendia are Noelle and a bunch of alts.

The issue is for some reason the Vanarch listed Incendia in first place, even though neither guild has any kills. Now, all they are doing is waiting for the Vanarch GvG week to end and return over to from Happy Tree Friends to Incendia. Noelle will simply hide in towns and port to instances, always being in safe zones.

I want to say this to Incendia and Noelle. I had respect for your guild, it's hard keeping a small active guild running and you've been around since the beginning of Blightwood. But, this classless and honor-less move by you shows your true colors. You and your guild are cowards. If you did not want to GvG then don't select the option, but you knew it was the only way to beat us for Bastion. So, you were lucky enough to be listed first (which we are speaking to the ingame GMs about right now) and you decide to move all your active members to another guild until the GvG event is over.

I thought Crux and Sparty Boy was bad, but you're worse. You can't even play the game the way it was intended. You are pathetic and everyone in your guild (Erty, Kyon, Davidboweknife, Katia, Leanan, Roadapple, etc) who follows you are all cowards and classless. Our server (and the game overall) is already bleeding players and you pull a bull[filtered] stunt like this. Thanks for ruining what tiny speck of fun was left in Tera.

Go to hell coward. I hope next Vanarch you get a taste of your own bull[filtered].

We're in a battle for our zone. The other guild, for some reason, is listed in first place and now they created an alt guild and moved ALL their mains into that guild. Now we have no one to kill to gain points. Keep in mind they have not killed anyone in our guild yet, but they are listed as first place by default....

This is ridiculous and I cannot believe EME did not fix this sort of cheap tactics prior to implementing GvG.
If two guilds are battling it out for a zone and neither side gets a kill, who wins the zone after the GvG week is over?
Just last night I lost 1000 gold and four gold T12 items just to TRY and get my scepter to +8. Before that...I LOST OVER 4000 gold (that's right) trying to get my +7 enchant.

It's total BS the way enchantment works. It is so stupid to the point where I don't even try anymore. I'm leaving all my gear at +7 and pretty much not playing anymore. It's a joke.
All I know is my full T12 gear set all has +7 on it. But, I've lost close to 4000 gold in alkahest and dozens of blue and gold items trying to get my ONE scepter to +8. It's BS.

The new mount is a joke of a feature, just a way for Tera to make more money. It's 100% for looks AND it's slower than the Vanarch mount. Why pay $25 to look fancy and ride slower?

My level 1 alt's are moving 280 speed faster than your level 1 alts.

Wow, so you'll pay $25 to move faster for...an hour? Talk about buying something 100% worthless. And, not everyone plays alts. I hear Starbucks has a new coffee for sale at only $9.99 a cup, bet you'll be the first in line.

There's no nice way to sugarcoat this.

Tera's entire gearing system is designed so that even the WORST players can still have access to the best gear.

By contrast, the best gear in WoW can only be acquired if the player actually runs through dungeons to acquire it.

This means that, yes, WoW is more hardcore than Tera. Everyone who is claiming Tera's enchanting system is harder, compare the two:

WoW:
-hit max level
-run normal dungeons
-once geared, run heroic dungeons.
-once geared, run 378 dungeons.
-once geared, run raid finder.
-once geared, run raids.
-once geared, run heroic raids.

Total time spent: 2-3 months

Tera:
-hit max level.
-sell 3-4 chronoscrolls (alternatively, spend days of mind-numbing farming for gold)
-buy all of the best gear in the game.
-enchant it to +12 by throwing massive piles of money at it.

Total time spent: 2-3 weeks

So yeah, anyone who says enchanting is hard is mistaken. They're confusing "hard" with "random" or "tedious".

Lucky for Tera that WoW doesn't have a live action combat system...

I 100% agree with this post. If you are comparing how hard WoW is to Tera, WoW is harder. In less than a month I have hit the level cap and have my full set of enigmatic gear. In WoW it took several months if not half a year to do this because the raids were 40 man and the items were BOP. The best gear in the game should not be sellable.

This is where Tera messed up.
