Wow relax man you act like you work for enmasse, get some rest. A simple solution is a pop up, it's important to know what's going on so an annoying po up would be best especially if you are focused in a pvp or instance you might miss the scrolling text in chat or whatever they are currently doing in game.
And many wow players stopped playing after the first month and wait 6 months or even more and came back.

Not to mention the broken server status page.... Still says they are up. Lame
This isn't wow and it's had over a year of release time leading up to this. The down times have been over the top. And the warnings of this server restart were missed by many... A forum post doesn't help when you are.... Playing the game.

This is true kicked me out of an instance at the end boss with out warning. Like I emailed customer service, I am not prepaying for time like I was thinking about until I see that the random crapping out of service and overage on down time isn't a habbit. You've got 30 days to wow me.
