I really hope BG restrictions and level requirements stay on the PvP servers.

^
This. BG's are not needed. Keep them at level cap and limit there playability. Maybe not a time limit server wide. But a que limit would work. This is an OW PvP game, get used to it.

BG's are used for gear and the Political system thats it. You have no random ques, no solo ques. If you want to fight out in equal terms utilize the duel or death match system thats what they are there for.

exactly
I hope they leave the limitations from KR. BG schedules make it so people can't just sit and grind bgs all day. Having to queue with premades gets rid of people crying because they queued solo and had to play against a premade. I think it's a joke that anyone would want to solo queue in a mmo over finding friends to play with and queuing with them.

SW:TOR is a prime example of a game for casuals with nothing difficult in the content...

Every server went from full at launch to light now, it's only been 3 months, hardcore gamers stay forever.

Take Eve and Lineage as examples...Eve sub numbers are growing after being out so long...growing after being out for eight years, that almost seems crazy to read.

SWTOR has no X server LFG - which is also why it failed.
They're scrambling to get one by 1.3, but it will be too late....

swtor is fail because its a wow clone with lightsabers and a [filtered] ton of bugs.
Don't get a "gaming" keyboard. If you are going to stick any amount of money into a keyboard get a decent one.

If you do get a gaming keyboard, don't get any razer keyboards. They are overpriced and the quality is awful.

For a mouse I would get: http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-G500-Programmable-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B002J9GDXI/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1331917980&sr=1-1

no footage of 15+ final boss being camped in a safe zone by 6 benny lava?

A suggestion:

Instead of removing safe zones all together, make it so that players after leaving a safe zone can’t re-enter within 15 seconds, and no skills are usable within a safe zone.

If every “cowards” were to roll on a PvE server then all the PvP servers would end up being like a ghost town. Most players don’t enjoy dying and that’s a fact.

People hugging safezones and just running in and out ruins any chance of good open world pvp. I can understand there being safezones from outlaws, but for guild vs guild it HAS to change. What op suggested is a great idea and would solve most of the issues. Hopefully enmasse has the common sense to see that it is a gamebreaking issue for a lot of people and does something to fix it.

Safe zones are fine, It's just REDS that shouldn't be allowed to duck and cover. If you attack someone then the camp shouldn't be your friend.

Safe zones are far from fine. They ruin any chances of fun pvp. If you are in any pvp combat you shouldn't be flagged as safe the second you cross the safezone line. You should stay in combat until the combat timer runs out or until you or whoever you are fighting dies. For gvg there needs to be no safezones at all. All weekend gvg was just bad guilds sitting in the safezones until they had triple your numbers, healers sitting in the safezone healing, and people charging attacks up, using it, then running back in. It was terribly boring.

If they don't fix safezones, they better hope server vs server is amazing. Otherwise this game will just turn into another swtor or rift where anyone who enjoys actual meaningful pvp will quit after the first month or two.
and i like op's idea. although, I don't know if enmasse has the power to actually do something like that to tera.

It sounds like Aion's system and people hated that. Losing points makes people not want to PvP. No one wants to PvP if they're going to lose stuff they need to progress while doing it. Never works.

people that actually liked to pvp, still pvp'd and liked it. carebears sat in town dueling and doing forts.

games like rift, swtor, and wow which have no repercussions are all terribly boring for open world pvp. people just run around like mindless idiots. and in swtor they tried rewarding open world pvp with no risk and look what happened, everyone just started trading kills.

open world pvp cant have a reward without a risk.

Le Sigh. Grinding gear in BG's and Arena is just WoW all over again. If this is the future of Tera I'll just join a PvE server and a RP guild, it will be the same [filtered] thing in the end.

All blue hole needs to do is create a few epic open world PvE encounters with top end gear for guilds to pvp each other for control. This will give competition for PvE'ers (most damage done wins the lewtz) as well as PvP'ers. I hope the Rift system is the answer for this, or at least the beginning of something more than what we have now.
