And trolls.. this isnt a QQ thread. Im stating the facts as I saw them from day 1 and what was going to happen. The game has potential, but it was unfinished and rushed.
People are already bored with the game. There is no end game. I have never in the history of MMOs hit lvl cap in 3 weeks. Never. The casual kids have ruined the MMO genre by wanting everything handed to them. Listen to them cry. You dont know what crying is until youve corpse run SolB in EQ.
I played EQ1 for 3 years. Played DAOC for 3 years. Played WoW for 4 years. And to hit lvl cap was waaaay more than 3 weeks, it was months and more than a year. Not only that, but those games kept my attention way past once I capped.
Emain Macha was awesome. Fort Sieges... running around with a bard in group tracking people to kill. Raiding the planes... raiding Naxx. Hell, even EQ1 had RAIDS. The game model had things to do and keep you entertained and coming back for more OUT OF THE BOX.
What do we have here? Gank lowbies on a bridge in Lumbertown? Crafting is not possible atm.. we have no raids, we dont even have an incentive to pvp. No pvp rewards what so ever.
So why are you staying? Give them a chance to bring these things out and in game for you? That my friend is what should have been done from day 1. If it were my game and my company Id for damn sure make sure it takes you longer to level than 3 weeks. I want to keep you as a paying customer for as long as possible.
I had high hopes for TERA. I absolutely loved the game. But it was too easy to level. It was too easy to get loot. I have a bank full of materials I cant use to make things. Why would I log in just to hunt and kill people if there are no incentives? Bragging rights? Hell I can do that on Steam on Team Fortress or COD or MW and do it for free.
But as it is now, its sad but I feel not wanting to log in. I would definitely put my sub on hold... and I would definitely come back when crafting is fixed... pvp is fixed and raids are in. However in its current state it doesnt hold my interest.
