This sounds like an awfully stupid idea, because it takes time and effort to implement this kind of drop rate modification, plus it takes time and effort to keep track of the number of items already existing on the entire server.... for what ultimate purpose? There are no incentives whatsoever for the developers to do this.
The incentive would be to keep the items very rare and thus keep people with something to strive for. If people complete the final gear, they might quit.
However, I kind of doubt they do this when simply having a very low chance of dropping would probably suffice. My guess is it's about the same as argon vitriol dropping off a bam, which if you ever tried to farm it, is very low.
I really don't think my computer has much to do with it considering today I walk in and get 59 fps just standing around, and then as soon as the first boss is engaged, it drops to like 9. That continues until two-ring circus when it goes up to about 19 or so.
Leftwidge is a total joke as I can't even avoid his cleave because it doesn't render. He basically stutters from one position to another every second or so and freezes. If people with good comps can post a video of a smooth Leftwidge fight maybe I would believe that it is my computer or internet or something.
Makes no sense really, although it does jive with other people's experiences with weird lag points in the game. Sucks that they are occurring in the premiere dungeon in the game right now.
It's not exactly new because it was on Ktera for awhile before getting here. And I don't think there's all that much more mechanics than say BT or something.
It's got to have something to do with the server the instance is on or something.
In any case, I'm not sure EME even knows it's a problem let alone are working on a solution. It's a shame because this is the premiere dungeon we have right now and it's horrible to look at.
So I run Wonderholme every day to try to get a sorc drop (21 runs and never saw a sorc drop yet, but that's another issue), and it's annoying how bad the FPS is in the dungeon. Why is it so bad? There's only 10 players in the instance.
-You created your levelup character after the event ended on Sunday at 11:59 Pacific. This is the most frequent question, and no exceptions are being made here. Please note the timezone.
Since that's the most frequent question, that shows there's a lot of desire out there for another chance or some kind of extension. C'mon guys have a heart! I made mine on Monday, the soonest I was able to. :(
Since it's going to take longer, is there any chance on extending when we can register a character? I didn't get a chance to over the weekend. :(
Hi guys. So I've been working on my conjunct and finally have almost all of it done and at +12. It seems like it's taken forever, and I really don't want to have to repeat the same kind of process with the RNG for PVE gear, so my question is this:
How bad is it to wear conjunct +12 for PVE?
As far as I can tell, the only real difference is a couple of bonuses. Many of the PVE bonuses don't really help.
Does it really in fact make that much of a difference?

Lancer leash has always been strong in BGs, sometimes you just have to be the person interrupting it. If there is 1 lancer or 2 on the other team you might do it easily if there is another person in the raid that knows how to interrupt them, if you're playing with potato or they have 3 or more lancers then well, you're screwed.
Lancers are broken but not because of chain leash, they are a broken class overall in pvp at the current state.
They really need to have some monkey brained devs at BHS to make a class that can tank enormous amounts of damage and also have the ability to burst down any target within 5 seconds (yeah well maybe besides another lancer). Priests can tank a lot too thanks to their healing potential but they will not dump tons of damage on your face during the progress.
35k crits in the face from a tank, yeah.
I agree that even without Giga Leash they would still be very strong. But Giga Leash just destroys teams and ruins what is otherwise a decently balanced pvp MMO.
Lancer is dull as dishwater to level solo, and the slowest I believe. So I don't mind if they end up with a powerful class at level 60. What I do mind is them being so powerful because of one single OP ability that they basically ruin any chance at a real competition.
I know battles are fast and sometimes you're more concerned with worrying about your own tactics to notice what's going on during a BG on the battlefield, but if you doubt the premise of this thread, I want you to try one simple thing:
Everytime you enter a BG, take a look at the number of Lancers on each side. Note which side has more, and especially if they have a lot more. Then note the outcome of the battle.
I believe you will find, as I have, that basically wins and losses come down to who has the most Lancers. That basically means they are overpowered, plain and simple.
Or you could just notice 1/3rd of a team getting wiped out through the use of this ability Giga Leash, because that happens all the time. But like I said, I can understand if people aren't really recognizing the sheer battle-turning effect this one ability has, because you're usually occupied.
But if you refuse to participate in my little experiment and note for yourself Lancers and wins/losses, then you're just ignoring the truth and you really should refrain from commenting.
