Hum yeah I understand what u said ... prefer more consistent dmg instead of "random" crit
but I like the "crit mecanism" in TERA, like "crit rear", "crit 50%" etc etc (but random yeah)
I just feel that sorc are a little "victim" class (when other players know how to counter them) and sometimes lack a few burst beside their weakness def
it's very difficult to cast a fireblast when u are focus/harass by just one melee (2 classes with backstab ... lancer shutdown everthing with stun/kd/leash ... slayer strong dmg + KD chance etc ...)
without fireblast (and sometimes void pulse) u ll do poor dmg (while an archer can shoot more easily during kite)
It's easy to "PK" with root/sleep/fireblast+voidpulse, but when u don't have the initiative or when player focus u during pvp team it's really difficult and u just run like a [filtered] and kitte with no dmg
I think that there is not "good cristal" for sorc to pvp ... all weapon cristal are crit based, or KD/rear, MP regeneration cristal are useless for sorc ... cristal 50% too risked ...
same for armor cristal ... except HP flat but when u take 60.000-90.000dmg crit from zerk/archer it's not very usefull
while for zerk for example, 50% hp cristal is very nice in offense and defense ... same for slayer with fury strike "combo"
not to mention the "little stun animation" when u are hit by a melee attack, the fact that u ll never KD ure target (or rarely)
when u see videos from sorcier, u see that they cannot cast a lot of fireblast, and without it, their burst/dmg as pretty low relative to others dps class
sorc' is fine but extremely dependant on his team ... good PK class just against "afk pve-boyz players" ;)
