You can also get better ones in Allementhia.

They're usable at level 58, and to get them at 58 you'll have to buy the tokens used to purchase them from the broker.

Look for "Practicum Badge" and "Silver Talent" or "Gold Talent" on the broker.

You need 10 Practicum Badges to buy a glyph box from Kaiator, which has a chance to contain any of the advanced glyphs appropriate to your class excluding those sold in Allementhia.

You need 15 silver talents to buy a similar box in Allementhia, which has a chance to include any advanced glyph for your class that you can purchase in Allementhia or Kaiator.

You need 35 gold talents to buy a specific glyph from Allementhia.
If your friend uses a ping lowering service such as BattlePing or the like, he won't be affected by the IP ban because it will change his origin IP to that of the BattlePing (or whatever service) server.

Using ping lowering services is not against the TOS.
Grind?

This game has no "grind" to speak of. Even the end-game MW/Enchanting "grind" is not a huge deal.
If this game lost any more of its supposed "grind" then we'd have welfare T14 handed out in droves for doing daily quests... like another MMO, I wish I could remember its name...
If you buy the game now, you'll get Founder.
When you buy the game, the reason for the subtotal is because it doesn't charge you for your subscription until your initial 30 days subscription that comes with the game runs out.

Since the game is going F2P, that subscription will be converted to Elite status- if you don't want it, cancel your subscription before it takes effect.
Minea/Other EME people/players reading this thread, don't know if you want to use this or not, but I created a simple AutoIt script to do this. It can easily be compiled into an executable if you want or run by just downloading the AutoIt software and running this.

If this isn't something you want on the forums, I apologize! It'd probably make people's lives a lot easier though.

Here's the script: http://sharesend.com/fw4cxt63
It's currently just in a .au3 file, which is basically plain text waiting to be interpreted by the AutoIt software located at www.autoitscript.com.

Obviously, I encourage you to look through the script and make sure you're OK with what it's doing before you run it. It's essentially just running what EME has placed in the FAQ.

If the UI FPS lag still isnt' fixed...

No computer can run this game smoothly

Incorrect. My PC runs the game perfectly fine and smoothly, and only a GTX 470 graphics card/i7 2600k processor.
I love this Tumblr so much. I have kept an eye on it even when I wasn't playing TERA actively... you're hilarious.
Are you sure it's time based and not location based? You could be loading more resources.

Basically, TERA will try to cache objects near you until your memory fills or until all objects are cached. If you have low memory (4GB or less) then you'll run out of space for objects quickly.
This will cause the Unreal Engine 3 streaming loader to pull those objects from the hard drive when you need to have them displayed.

If your hard drive is slow, then this will also slow down your framerate until the object is loaded, because the game engine runs inside a single process.

Try testing your hard drive I/O speeds, make sure you've defragmented your drive and are using at least a 7200 RPM drive, and if you've got a lower amount of memory try to keep background stuff to a minimum.

Other than that, you're looking at some other bottleneck with your system- if it was the game, it'd be happening to everyone.

Hope it helps!
Welcome to the game!
I know I'm going to get hardcore flamed for this, but...

As long as you can *also* purchase it in game for in-game money from players, I'm OK with anything being sold in the cash shop that is normally tradeable in game.

In other words:
- Any item that is Bind on Pickup (dungeon boss drops, for example)? NOT OK!
- Any other item that you can trade to anyone else? Awesome!

My 2c. And judging by the success of Aion's F2P model, I'd have to say a lot of people agree.
