Well...all lancers aren't victims either. Some decide they can be dicks as much as they want because they're aren't enough tanks. My wife and I (Mystic and Warrior) had been waiting for 30 minutes for a group and had been questing. We were in the middle of a BAM fight when we finally got a group. The lancer puts a deadline on how long we had to enter the instance(5 seconds I believe) and I told him "*** off we'll be a minute" and he booted me and my wife left.
I'm sorry for the original posters bad experience because not all people are bad and I would've been happy to group with someone like you. Claiming people are just irritable because they're 'X' class doesn't mean anything. I'm irritable because there are [filtered] people out there that can kick people without a vote from the group after we had waited 30 minutes. After the abandonment debuff wore off on my wife we got in a group that wasn't very successful but I found everyone to be a bit nicer minus one who apologized and is easily forgiven.
My advice to the OP is to keep being awesome and polite but don't put up with the BS from people like that. Let them die and then leave.
