I'm not sure what the GW2 exploits were but that company in general is quite strict - both in game and on the forums. There is no friendly warning system, you do something remotely wrong and there is immediate punishment. Like my post right here would get an infraction for being off topic if this were GW2.

People were buying other racial gear and using one of the in-game features to get materials from the gear to sell. There was also a cooking exploit where you could get it cheaper somewhere else and lvl your character through only cooking.
