Simple solution: member slots only counted once per account. (1 person with 8 alts in guild = 1 slot in guild).
Though I really could care less regardless. Giant guilds are a pain in the [filtered] for multiple reasons, and this is one of them. Never seen a point in 'em.
There's really a simple solution for [filtered] lancers.
Make friends with a good one.

Luckily my friend is a great lancer, so I haven't had too many bad experiences. The worst was just getting some piss poor lancers in instances, but they weren't [filtered]s or anything...they just sucked at their role, lol.

Really that's all there is to it. If there were 5 DPS classes, 2 healer classes, and 37 tank classes, those 37 tank classes would likely still have the same attitude in a party. They run the show, and there's no real way to avoid that short of trying to run an instance WITHOUT a tank (which would make you a suicidal moron).

People whine about the strangest things.
1: Agreed, especially about putting some vanity items in them. Westerners love costumes (myself included), i'd definitely farm eggs just for vanity reasons. It also looks stupid to have those ovomelds or whatever, when lucky eggs and such don't appear after 20...


2: I don't really find this necessary, however it'd go with the theme of westernizing to remove the grind on crafting.

3: No comment.

4: I only agree because it was pointless to remove, though it's a rather pointless item overall.

8: Elins are fine. I wish people would just shut the hell up about it. Stop staring at your Elins [filtered]... I haven't even noticed any "censoring", and i've played over 60 hours on Elins.

9: Hahahaha Frogster. There's a reason we have probably 50% of the European community over here on the NA servers. Hilarious.


Anyway I have faith in En Masse to polish the game. This is their first project, they were bound to make mistakes. That's why we, the community, are here. They've proven they DO listen to the community, no upgrade fails was one major change I can point out off the top of my head. That was changed due to massive community input on removing painful gambling.
Give 'em time to polish the game a bit. A ton of people are having a blast, it isn't like the game is a failure or anything. It just has a few bumps to be ironed out. (comment directed at blind haters).

Just because it's a "launch feature" doesn't mean it's enabled AT launch. It's implemented at launch, not enabled.

The nexuses get stronger the longer you leave 'em. Guess how many 60s there were to fight nexuses at launch?
A whopping 0 there guys. So by the time a few guys got to 60, fields would be littered with immensely powerful nexuses and they'd be getting their asses pounded into the ground.

They're waiting till there's enough people to actually actively control the nexuses. Not a difficult concept, stop being whiny morons. I'm so tired of MMO forums having dumbasses who just whine about EVERYTHING because they can't use their brain for even one second.
Two types. PvE and PvP. That's all we need.
We don't need RP servers. They just split the playerbase. People can pretend to be mythical heroes and furries in the same server as everyone else, no one is going to stop them.

It doesn't affect anything in the slightest. This debate is almost as stupid as the Elin censorship bullcrap.

No instant teleport on PvP servers of course. Even if it isn't much, there's danger from walking from one area to a dungeon entrance. On PvE it doesn't matter in the slightest since there's no risk or danger from walking anyway.

Your connection probably wont, but no guarantees Frogster's server connections wont suck.

Hopefully they fix the lag spikes. They weren't due to people playing from NA, whenever a lag spike hit it was GLOBAL, and that much was obvious in chat when everyone was whining about it.

Still, i'm signed up and had some good fun last weekend on their PvP server.

Hopefully they learn from their mistakes and do a 60 hour beta like EME has been doing. They got RIPPED APART for their first test when they planned to shut servers down inbetween days. So much so they left the servers on after day 2 hit and only turned it off at the end of day 3.
I had no idea people needed a trick to do this.

All I did was run Tera through steam and it worked perfectly.
