We are also looking for smaller guilds that want to be part of a bigger community. Were trying to build our ranks to help bolster the economy, and to keep our guild active at all times.

If your a small guild and are looking for more active play pst me!

We have been on the server for a little over 2 weeks or so and we have a consistent bunch logging on and having fun. Join us!
Vae Victis is a new guild on Freehold but is growing fast! We transferred over from Arachnea due to a mass exodus and instead of just picking the biggest server we decided to pick the one we felt had a quality community and the biggest potential to grow. We have dedicated players looking to conquer end game, gear up for hardmodes, participate in Nexus runs, and battle it out in the future BG's of Freehold.

We will also be getting our feet wet and giving back to the community in the next Vanarchy elections.

Stay tuned for community events!

So the above just proves there is continuous movement. More power to the people that move to dragonfall. Were still interested in building a second community in FH. I'm not even doing this for guild recruitment purposes. More so to bolster a second server community.
There is some good and bad on those posts for sure, and just like this thread, all of the thoughts are subjective. I am in no way trying to promote the grass is greener. I am however trying to make the grass more greener here on freeholds. It is a bit selfish, I would expect people to be upset, but again Arachnea has already lost a lot of top guilds. The server will never be the same. Frustrations will continue to flare. This is a solution, and a difficult one at that.

I recommend doing all your homework. Talking to your guild leaders. But most important ask yourself if your having fun, and if your not then find a way to do that.

Keep debating! Star definitely has a strong stance to stay. My only opinion on that and it truly is my own opinion is bolstering another server with numbers will only help the cause to have fun. Maybe it could be Freehold to Arachnea.... but whatever the case, community action I think is key to building a second populated server. I'm the only one suggesting it at this point so obviously its my own subjective opinion.

I want to clear one thing up, I don't want to be the voice of Vae Victis in this matter as I am not the GM but more so this is solely my own opinion, and I apologize to you if this actually would hurt your guild on Arachnea but I'm just trying to be as honest as possible.

Your point is well met, as both servers are quite low. I'm not denying that. I reiterate my point I think Arach should move as there are many thinking about moving already (and some that have). So if you try and target a server to move to, then I'm simply trying to point out Freehold rather than Dragonfall. The community players on Freehold are quite good and they really are sticking together.

If there is more support behind an organized move your going to pick up the Vanarchy competition, and pick up the general chatter. There is already a huge Nexus participation on Arachnea, if those guild all moved to Freehold we would double the participation.

I respect your decision to see it to the end, but if the community does end up moving (which other posts elude to anyway) lets just make sure it ends up on a server that can compete with DF.

Honestly I just don't see Arachnea being the server everyone would move to. There is so many moving out.

I know it's a lot to ask.. The reason why I promote a move from Arachnea rather to it, is because of the major frustrations many people have already expressed and unfortunately Arachnea is definitely the smaller of the two servers.

Losing a name sucks. However my name has changed in other games numerous times and it's always a querky variation.... Add a vowel or double a letter. I went from Rakhir to Rakhiir and ended up loving the double ii. I know this is just my opinion but you can still be creative!

I just know that more and more are going to be frustrated and end up leaving the server anyway. If you don't want to lose guildies and you don't want to lose even more of the guild community an organized move is the best thing.

Some will stay put but I believe in this idea.... If anyone wants to join our guild in freehold message me here and we chat! Sorry for the selfish plug but I believe in the Arachnea community and want to ensure you all have a place to go when the realization kicks in that the server is unfortunately no longer what it was. I do however promote talking to your guild leaders and expressing your interest as a unit first. It's not the easiest sell but the more the community supports the move the more chances you can get your guild to move

Hey Guys, I'm new to the server and have heard of some population issues. I have been thinking of a solution to this and am now on a quest to promote freeholds to be the next large server in game. If you have any friends on the fence, please get them over here!

If you have alts in other servers, talk up the next big server move to Freeholds.

I personally don't like the other huge PVE server, so it just makes sense that these smaller servers all merge together via a community based organanized move. It will enhance our game play and point people in our direction. It will also help control EnMasse server mergers in the future (if and when they do this) If our server is big and active enough they wont touch it.

Hope I don't get flamed, Im just trying to voice a huge problem my old server had, and Freehold just seems like the best server to focus my energy on.
I might get flamed to hell, or might get ignored.

I have recently been part of a server transfer to Freehold, in my opinion, its about the same as Arachnea but one thing it has going for it is the "medium" server population. Which means new subs will float here versus a "reccomended".

They also have a great bunch of top guilds with great community.

So here is my pitch. As enmasse hasn't listened to you.

Move off the server. Vanarchs- organize a mass move and rebuild your community. Let Arachnea die. The problems are swelling. So why not move the great community on to another server that also has a great community. It's possible to build and be bigger and better thanDragonfall.

Please consider this, its free, and if the whole community transfers, than you risk an Enmasse server merge which could be undesirable as well.

My vote, as I'm already there and making many friends is Freehold. If you all do it, you will see that the server grow. I have already talked to a few of the guilds on Freehold. They need more players just like Arachnea, the big thing is Arachnea's problems are worse, as we already took a huge hit when the other big guilds moved off the server.

Let the flames begin-eeek- I am expecting not to be very popular with this stance but I have talked to quite a few people on Arachnea that are unhappy but don't know what to do. THIS is the solution. Community based server merges. It will FORCE enmasse to do something, or if they don't at least you get your community back.

I hope for some healthy debate. My play in game has been quite dissapointing due to the same reasons of lack of community, and this seems to be a very logical choice. If it works, this may be one of those actions that go down in MMO history if the game lives on!

I hope im not overstepping my boundaries but probably am, so sorry for offending anyone. If EnMasse isn't listening about the server problem its becuase there hands are most likely tied due to many active subs that are still remaining. They are also developing a lot of content and server merges would most likely be on the last of their lists.

So now to the hard stuff. I in no way represent Amira and the VV stance to move off of Arachnea, I was only a member of the guild, albeit a vocal member and I did end up moving to freehold.

If your unhappy with the server, then please move. Please join us on Freehold, or go and have fun on Dragonfall. Arachnea actives need to make a decision and move on. We already got screwed once by large guilds moving off the server, the landscape has already changed. So why not take your community and as the remaining 5-6 active guilds of Arachnea make a decision to move on.

It's time to build community, if your server sucks, then arrange to bolster the number of others.

One thing I will say selfishly about freehold, is the community is very good here. They remind me of Arachnea. So why can't we plan a player base server merge?

Posting elements of this on another post to try and get more traction
