This was happening to me at 1st,then I started memorizing the settings and/or writing them down,then if I got timed out I could re do quickly and the 2nd try would work.
The 3 buddy codes that people received were for head start only and allowed up to 3 friends join you in head start,but they ran out at midnight PST Monday night,the 30th of April.To continue beyond that your buddies would have to purchase the game.

That's all grand after launch!It's great you got a couple people to play,but that could've happened in a week,once the pre orders got situated and have the names they wanted and so forth.For every person that uses a free key and joins there could be 2 more that create characters and possibly take wanted names to only never play again.
I just feel the buddy codes should've happened in a week or 2.

I convinced two out of three people to buy TERA with these codes...being that they didn't even care to try the game out in the first place...One of them isn't sure simply because of the cost of the software (not so much the subscription).
Those getting the BC's are pre-orders..some people didn't get them and had to acquire through customer support...GW has been overhyped and TERA's been shadowed as of late. I say invite as many friends as you can! This game is awesome, the customer service is awesome, and it should increase in popularity.

I have 3 codes and choose not to reveal them.if you haven't preordered I honestly feel you shouldn't be here!!All these freebies are doing is causing queues on some servers and taking names that should go to people actually committed to the game.

Me too,I mean I'm going to play both but saying GW2 is bad is lol.The links to pics and gameplay i'm seeing in this thread is nowhere close to how the game looks to me.It's like WAR only much better.If you have to have Tera graphics to play then you're not a gamer,you just like the eye candy.
Played over 3 hrs of GW2 today and had 30+ fps everywhere I went,fluid and responsive.It's funny how people pick 1 game and defend it and everything else is subpar,just sad.THis game and GW2 will do well,but I see GW2 having many more players as it's free.Even if they release an xpac every 6-8 mo's at $40 a pop it's cheaper than $15 a mo.
At the same time I'll be here tomorrow to play this game,i'm flexible like that.
I'm just going to laugh at the threads that are trying to compare these two games.
