What people are not realizing though is that BG's will be here soon and the pvp gear you get from BG's will be a lot better than nexus gear. It sucks that everyone is getting welfare epics right now but it won't be like that much longer. BG gear is going to make nexus gear look stupid when it comes to pvp stats.

Can you provide a link supporting this? This would alleviate a lot of my concerns regarding the current system.

EME has nothing to do with the pvp gear being given for nexus. That is all BHS and will not change until battlegrounds are re-emplemented in the summer. It was done to make it so you can still get pvp gear with BGs being in the game as there is more to pvp than instanced BGs.

I see nothing about it killing the game. If anything the poor design and performance of the nexus is killing the game more than the pvp gear for them is. Once again though a fix for that is in the works over at korea.

It actually has everything to do with EME. Stop using the excuse that poor EME is the victim of BHS's evil tyranny. They have the ability to change aspects of the game, and they have made changes to the game already. Look at the enchanting change, all the things relevant to crafting that were removed, increased XP from quests, this was all EME's doing.

The PvP rewards are no different. They have the ability to remove gear from the game if given reason to do so.

And you say that poor design and performance of Nexus is killing the game but getting the absolute best gear from it isn't a problem? Very logical argument.
I realize you guys are busy. I realize you guys have your hands full trying to make sense of the horrible development strategy that BHS has lead in front of you. I realize that you're unmanned and have limited resources to work with.

That said, you guys really can't afford to let this [filtered] continue on any farther. I know that BGs were delayed because they were poorly designed and easily exploitable (sounds familiar) but you can't just makeshift "fix" this by handing out for T13 PvP gear for something that clearly has nothing, absolutely NOTHING with PvP. It's completely ridiculous and it is killing your game, murdering it actually.

I know you guys have difficulty communicating and listening to your community. Some of us have the tolerance to forgive you over and over. I do not. I don't care if this thread is redundant because I know this issue has been beaten to death. Problem is, you guys have yet to give us a response. Nothing you are currently translating is more important than fixing this issue.

I don't want to hear stories about people who enjoy Nexus or that think I'm a whiner or troll. I don't care about any of you guys or your personal stories. I want a respond from EME, i want them to realize that their game will sink faster than TORtanic did after the Ilum imbalance. I want them to look at forums and see the rivers of tears that are flooding any meaningful post off the first page. I want them to fear that their hard work will be for nothing when they are looking for another job in less than half a year.

You guys need to open your eyes and see that your game sucks and you are doing nothing to help the problem. Remove PvP gear from Nexus rewards or enjoy being Aion 2.0.

Same pointless thread in every MMO forum; honey for the trolls to come out and play. For my part: most definitely staying. Looking forward to a slightly tighter community past the end of the month.

You truly think the community is going to get tighter as more people leave? You claim this happens in every MMO yet you seemingly know nothing about how MMOs really work.

Perhaps in 5-6 months time, when it's about a quarter of the population left things will calm down. To think in one month it's all going to be sugar and rainbows is just ignorant.

Well alrighty then EnMasse. Since everything is "wait until this Summer", I suppose you're expecting everyone to leave after the initial 30 days and return at the end of August when there is something concrete to do at 60? That's fine with me.

Welcome to EME marketing strategies. Tell you nothing, expect you to remain loyal.

This tactic worked just fine prior to release when the hype was immense, there was no notable competition to speak of and players were salivating at the chance to play. Now that most of us know what TERA is, what it will be and how EME runs their operation, the outcome is going to be bleak.

But as long as they continue to remain adamant with their FACEBOOK advertising and publishing their e-books that no one reads I'm sure people will hang around.
All the lvl 60s: quitting, bored, EME sucks, no PvP, PvE grind, no content, GW2, Diablo 3, Archeage, censor Elin, zerker kicked, archer kicked, zerg politics, exploit +9, dead game.

All non lvl 60s: TERAAAA woohoo, best game, so much content, PvP is amazing, GW2 sucks, D3 letdown, what's Archeage, don't listen to whiners, game is fine, EME is fine, BHS is fine, 5 year sub.

Me: Bored -> youtube -> search -> Archeage CBT5 sieges -> /popcorn -> open another tab -> tera.enmasse.com -> account -> sub options -> cancel.
The game has been out for quite some time, plenty of time for them to work on their BGs. It's quite discouraging to see just how much time it has taken them to "fix" their battlegrounds. This is an ancient technology, there is nothing new or innovative about them either, you just run in and kill things. Now they are taking what is more than likely going to be 6 months to add NPCs in certain areas. Worth it? We will just have to wait and see.

At this point I'm just waiting for the announcement for SvS to be delayed indefinitely (just like the release date, the battlegrounds and every other notable update) or scrapped entirely.
That's one hell of a cool story.

Re-reading it as we speak.

Yeah, that's cool.

Just look at SWTOR. They say "high" pop or "very heavy" load for some servers but we all know they are [filtered] ghost towns. They lie to give impression the game is healthy.

I honestly don't see EME blatantly lying about server population ... if that was the case why wouldn't they adjust all the PvE servers that are "Recommended"? Seems strange that they would just adjust one server and not the others, if deception was their goal that is.

I think the doom and gloomers are just bored from playing so much or waiting for GW2, Blade & Soul or whatever bad game you want to think of.

The server has potential, people just need to stop being carebears and make things more interesting.
I've been seeing a lot of people (assuming they are trolls) claiming that BC's community is dying or that the population has taken a steady decrease, but I'm looking at server selection screen and for the first time it says "High".

Am I high? Cause I'm at work right now, but I can only assume those people are full of [filtered] or that they're wrong.

While I personally think the activity on the server has been slow lately, the sheer amount of players sitting around in towns, outside of instance portals or running around Velika says that the server population seems healthy.

Now if I could only get about 95% of them to remember they are playing on a PvP server....
