In theory with enough money a player could have as much as 80% damage reflect.

I wouldn't be so fast to call failure just yet.
It is widely accepted that NA players, EU players, and Korean players don't agree on everything when it comes to what we like in an MMO. Many EU players love TERA but hate Frogster. Even on these forums most of us reading have seen EU play posts about coming over to NA TERA to avoid their evil over-lords at Frogster. Even if only 10% of EU players switch that just increases revenue for NA TERA.
Big picture time. Should KTERA and EU-TERA completely fail NA-TERA ""should"" have the player base keep TERA as a business venture profitable meaning we would no longer have to wait on K-TERA patches to be made then ""Westernized"" (<-Anyone else remember that ambiguous beauty being thrown around?)
For now I would say NA-TERA is the strongest branch of this MMO.
Thread taken from EU forums
https://forum.tera-europe.com/showthread.php?t=108520
It isn't a surprise to anyone to hear that TERA is struggling in its home country, however this news comes as a bit of a surprise to me. K-TERA is closing down a vast majority of their servers, down to only 4, and is including what they are calling a trial free to play server. This is all coming with the newest Queen of the Argons patch that should be released sometime later this summer.
I post this because if the game struggles in Korea, there is a very good chance that our version of the game will be affected directly afterward. With how poorly the game is doing in EU, thanks to our friends @ Frogster, it is safe to say that TERA is a collective failure at this stage.
Will we be seeing server merges and a potential f2p model soon? I would venture to say that it is certainly within the realm of possibility at this point.

LOL
You think it is bad now :)
QoA patch 2 improves Warriors:
-A Warrior's shadow now has an 8 second stun.
-Rupture is a new skill which increases the amount of damage a warrior does by 25% this debuff can stack 5 times increasing a Warrior's damage by 125%.
-Evade skills no longer consume MP but a new stamina bar
-Also Warriors now get an active block
I don't like the idea that warriors are the only class in the game that have a role option. If they have an option, the other classes should too, or at least some of the other classes. Or if the other classes don't have an option, warriors shouldn't either. It's only fair. I mean when warriors have block they're going to be living it up. They'll queue as tank to receive instant queues to make their lives much easier, and on top of that, when they pvp they can switch to a dps pvp build and rape some face. This is a great opportunity that a lancer will never experience. And I definitely don't like the idea of a dps warrior using dodge and block in pvp. Guess I'll just have to see for myself how OP it is when it comes out. The main point is though, they have an option, dps or tank. No other class has an option. That's pretty unbalanced. Anyone's thoughts on this?

Archers are good at 60 I understand some frustration but from what I gather about you Archer's main selling point is stylistic and you do not meet the player-type for this class.
I have a lvl 60 Archer on JC.
1v1
Warriors: Any Archer that dies solo to a Warrior needs to find out why they lost as it should not happen.
Zerkers: This class is bugged to all hell when it comes to 1v1 with an Archer those of you who know what I am talking about please do not share as Zerkers are already bugged enough without letting everyone know how to kill them.
Slayers: This class is a bit trickier in 1v1 it comes down to procs most of the time.
Lancers: These suckers are bit tougher. Best bet is to get off a few Poison Arrows after all you can't block a DOT. Fights 1v1 with Lancers will take a good chunk of time but it is doable.
Priests: Priests are very hard 1v1 for an Archer we can't seem to do enough burst to get around their self heal. Using Poison Arrow as often as possible forces the Priest to expend large amounts of MP to cleanse themselves for be killed. These fights last longer but are still doable.
Mystics: This class is really a cake walk once you get to your target porting all over the place. A few well placed Radiant and Penetrating Arrows will finish this fight off fairly quickly.
Sorcs: This class is difficult as they hit harder than you faster than you. If a Sorc lands a root then a sleep the fight is all but over. However should an Archer get the drop on this class the Archer stands a good chance of winning.
I have played an Archer since the first day of CBT1 and have yet to play another class. I average about 12 hours a day.(Yes no lifer I get it my guild reminds me of this too.)
Archer's are an amazing class and get passed over for so many unrealistic reasons.

Archrunes of Titans can be found in stacks of 13-18 off of the first bosses in Golden Labyrinth and Akasha's Hideout.
At 60 these bosses are fairly simple to solo.

I have to agree with you on the story thing. The Kaia's Protection buff was just an awesome effect to play around with, personally I felt like I was fighting alongside a Goddess.
Korilynn on 06/13/2012, 05:40 PMMaybe that's the reason for the 7 day free Trial.
Personally, I've been loving TERA! Every other fantasy based MMO i've checked out, I've left to go back to my main MMO. Now, I've been trying to split the time evenly, with a bit more time spent in TERA, due to wanting to get to lvl 50 (I want that leather famle castanic armor!).
Graphics are pretty! Combat is fun! The quests are standard. But then, I've never heard anyone give a real suggestion to what would be NEW, since a lot of that, just doesn't seem like an option in any type of MMO. Basically go here to here. Kill this many of that. Kill big bad!
What other unique quest can they think of, outside of just having a good story to play along to (whether TERA is a good story is a matter of opinion).
Now if they just make it so I can have my armor look like any armor I want! I'll be set!
Too be honest I wasn't really into the story at all until I found myself walking into endless hordes of enemies with Kaia wiping out like 4 and 5 boss level mobs in a swing... that was pretty awesome.
So was the cutscene afterwards.

I wouldn't consider this fearmongering as I am simply stating a fact regarding a portion of TERA's player base.
We are tired and we would like something to do besides grind HM's.
this isnt FF14. tired of all these fearmongering tinhats..

It went well however it caused a bit of bad publicity when it came to Vanarch elections. We completed many contracts and had many satisfied customers unfortunately we ended up with many more dissatisfied targets.
However that is a topic for another thread.
What happened to your super leet awesome "contract killer" guild? Surely it was successful?
Who remembers that leet 100+ page thread... lmao!

Does anyone have or know where to find a list of master glyphs and what they do?
