Why can't an RPG match teams based on player equipment? Or both? It really can't be that hard to do.


If it cant be that hard to do why hasnt a single MMO done it yet?
WoW...nope
Rift...nope
SWToR...nope

Only other MMOs with PvP are open world like DAoC, GW2, and Aion so matching them based on gear would be impossible to do.

Or, on the other hand, have an actual matchmaking system; like any reasonable human being would have (but not bluehole).

Have both teams average item levels be the same. There, problem solved.



No game has this. Please tell me one game where people are matched together based on gear.
Couldnt you PL with a level 60 priest buffing you and then just healing while you facetank BAMs using 100% XP buff? Since healing doesnt put Priest in combat wouldnt you get full EXP.

Always enchant at low levels. I cant stand dungeons taking over an hour because all the DPS are using green quality gear 5 levels lower than them with nothing enchanted. Not enchanting just gimps yourself and makes everything take longer. Just healed a CR where everyone was wearing +9 lvl 38 superior gear. We blew through it in no time. Did it again where everyone was wearing greens and I wanted to stab out my eyes.

Drama Free Priest looking for a large active guild on Tempest Reach with members of all levels. I prefer doing lots of dungeons while leveling but even as a healer the queue can be long sometimes. Would like to join a large guild so I can have people to group with as I level. Also that lets me get to know people while leveling up and doing dungeons so once I get to 60 I will be used to grouping with the same people. Also grouping up with guildies is always more fun.

Also please have active members and not just 275 that havent been online in over 6 months. I have joined guilds in the past in other MMOs where the leader said they did all kinds of stuff together like dungeons, raids, and PvP. Then you join and theres never more than 3 members online even during prime time.

Dont now how Archers fair at 60 and when they start to get stronger but while out questing I was watching a level 38 Archer doing quests on Mistmoor Island. I really felt sorry for him. My 34 Priest on the same quests and was killing faster with just my auto attack and when I wanted to I could 1 shot anything with Shocking Implosion Maybe he was wearing level 20 whites or just a really bad bot but Im pretty sure a DPS class should kill faster than a Priest. I actually had been wanting to try an Archer but not anymore.

Umm no ...

Translation: Id rather group up and do dungeons rather than quest and should get the same amount of EXP.

Are Warriors (the class itself) really that bad in dungeons?

I have noticed most of the time SI wont chain into FR correctly or either it bugs out. FR will flash on the screen for like half a second telling me to hit spacebar to complete the chain but 99% of the time you cant do it fast enough and I just jump in the air. Basically for it work go off correctly after I hit my Shocking Implosion hotkey I have to immediately start spamming spacebar and even then it doesnt always work. Is this normal? Whats the point of a combo if it hardly works.
I dont know if these forums have Devs that read them like in other games but I have a small rant:

In other games it is perfectly viable to level doing mostly dungeons. So why cant that be true in this game? I just cant stand questing and I prefer to group with other players but its just not worth it. Instances are horrible exp and in fact they are actually negative exp. They are negative exp because you would actually be gaining more exp out questing solo therefore you lose exp by running a dungeon. Why? Isnt this a MMO where we should be grouping with other players? Running instances gets you used to using spells you wouldnt normally use while solo questing that you will definitely need at 60 either in dungeons or most certainly in PvP.

After trying every class to 30 after coming back I finally settled on a Priest because I enjoy healing. But compared to DPS classes our leveling rate is pitiful. I know its not as bad as a Mystic but compared to the Zerker and Sorcerer I tried before deleting them in favor of my Priest we kill at a laughable rate. Even with +6 gear. So instances should be a viable alternative to go along with questing for gaining exp. If anything they should be more exp because of the time it takes to do them, especially with new players who might still be learning their class or dont have the gold to twink out their classes while leveling so kills are slower. Theres also the risk of dying and losing expensive crystals.

TLDR: Dungeon exp sucks please increase it.
