tomvs's Post History

Just an update on my situation. Got +6 using a blue, got +7 immediately using a gold, then two failures trying for +8. Seems normal :)
Has anyone recently succeeded with a +6 enchantment to one of the new t13 items? When trying to upgrade my t13 lance to +6, I've also failed more times than what is average. I also get a partial message that says something like "can't be used for this level of enchantment".

Maybe there's a bug..
Hmm, I've gotten lots of T13 from this dungeon. I've seen the following so far out of three runs:
T13 pvp lance (non-enigmatic)
T13 pvp robes (non-enigmatic)
T13 shoes (enigmatic)
T13 gold trash lance (non-enigmatic)
T13 gold trash axe (non-enigmatic)

Anyone get any PVE T13 enigmatic weapons from here yet?
After you finish the story quest in golden labyrinth, there will be some level 49 quests available for you on the top level camp in Hungry caverns.

In AH, I just had a repeatable quest to kill the bosses from the camp closest to AH.
We all know the cons and problems with using the tool. A possible solution can be a modified tool:

Players can have additional options when using LFD:

1. The standard option (LFD as it is now). This is automatic group-matching.

2. A create-group option:
A group leader can make his own group for a particular dungeon that can be seen cross-server. The leader can set a message for the group that potential members can see, such as "warrior tank", "dps only/no healers", "Sorcs only", "gear level xxx and above only" "Loot rules are xxx", etc.

The group leader can discuss his plans for the instance, kick/recruit new players as needed, then choose to start the instance (even with a group that is not full). He can choose to recruit members that use automatic match-making. Once the group leader starts the group, members are given the option to teleport to the instance.

3. A browse-group option. Players will be able to see groups in initial formation and groups in a dungeon that are recruiting more members. Players will be able to see the group's message so that they can determine if they'll be a good fit for the group.

I don't see any down-sides to this grouping option compared to what we currently have (besides extra programming). Upsides are:

- Players can see exactly what's needed in groups (what classes are lacking/etc).
- Players can choose not to enter a group if they don't like the people/classes already in the group.
- Players will have an idea of the group's goals/needs so won't join a group they'd likely be kicked from.
- At least some communication is made between players (in the form of the group message) and promotes more communication, which current LFD groups are lacking.
- People aren't automatically saved to instances when joining a group, because they don't actually enter the instance until the party leader is happy with the group and decides to start.
- Groups aren't limited to unique classes as with the current tool. If everyone's okay with a warrior, 3 sorcs, and a priest, that's no problem.

Edit: Damn, slow at typing, looks like another similar suggestion was just posted :)

AH is much easier than GL, primarily because there's not a lot of trash and the trash has aggro that you're used to. Later on you'll get to Ascent of Saravash (52) which is very difficult due to the new boss mechanics. Then Saleron's Sky Garden (53) is easy-mode again as it's the same old stuff you're used to.
Yes, same issue here, though it comes and goes. Some days it is fine and the group says I'm the best tank ever (lancer). Other days, I get hit often because I can't block in time and get told I'm a bad tank :)
The guild sounds interesting. I'll contact you or apply in-game. I play odd hours at the moment though. Lancer: Saevara Priest: Panim
I think its just fine and haven't glyphed it for length myself (level 50 lancer). Though it sounds as if you may be using it for pulling. It's much more useful to save for stunning mobs/bosses when they're about to do a special attack or are chasing your team members.

Never had that issue, but then again, I play a lancer :) The only reason I've kicked someone is because they've been afk for several minutes at a dungeon start.

I feel bad for warriors/archers/slayers. I frequently get all three in my groups and then they need to share all of the light armor.

And this is really only a leveling issue. Everyone will have plenty of time at max level to get the items they want, and will then just be farming dungeons for enchant materials.
