Please offer server transfers to the new PVP server, I know my entire guild would take that offer.
It would be a waste to run such an event only once.
Lol no one told Catatonic that Skyrim's becomes linearly more fun with every new mod installed.

So I'm finally emerging from a Skyrim binge, maybe someone noticed I was gone for a while. Hopefully no one cared. I don't see much on the news page, and the forums are pretty quiet. Did something happen? Did nothing happen?
I dont know why we're dignifying this guy with responses.
The fact that people want to use it to "find who's bad" just shows you the type of immature behavior such a thing could promote. The tool should be available for testing purposes of glyphs, rotations, and crystals. Nothing more.

There's a big difference between operating under [filtered] rules, and operating under a bug.
MadcatGTs on 07/07/2012, 05:40 AMSaw this coming, if theres a easy was to do things, it will happen. Though for everyone calling exploits, sorry they are not exploiting at all. They are using the system as intended. Now granted the system really has no rules to start with, and they are being underhanded in their tactics, but nothing to warrant bans/action against.
So, they are doing everything within game mechanics that allows it, so their tactic of Kill trading is allowed. So stop QQ'ing about them doing it, and start QQ'ing about a bad system that allows them to do it, or makes it the best way to go about things.
lol the people who used enchant exploit tried to use this same dumb [filtered] justification. We saw how that worked!

I take offense, I most certainly do not look like bigfoot. I look like a sage, wise old man.

I see. So it is not a move that grants invuln frames. I'll have to edit that away again.
rocdog on 07/06/2012, 03:34 PMThis is what was reported in the KTera thread about QoA Pt 2.Lancers are not getting a dodge. They are getting the same skill priests and sorcs have, which does not include invulnerability frames.
Lancer is not getting an dodge. It however is a pass through. It is to get out of being surrounded or when the monster's sweep attack would land behind you and thus ignore block.

"Necessary" is an interesting word, OP. To do the job, a tank must.
1. Not die
2. Hold aggro reasonably well
3. Hold the target reasonably in place.
To that end, there are several things in this game for both lancers and warriors that are not strictly necessary. Those being
1. charge
2. damage dealing
3. ranged taunts or ranged aggro
4. leash
The necessary abilities are
1. ability to negate a majority of incoming damage
2. ability to maintain some form of aggro superiority over your healer/dd teammates.
It could be argued that both classes could stand to have several abilities removed and still maintain their function as tanks. It could also be argued that warriors lack point
3. hold target reasonably in place
and that block fulfills this purpose, giving you a complete tank.
edit: Additionally, the ability to negate a majority of damage is questionable for warrior tanks on just about any trash pull, as well as several bosses at endgame. Block fills in these gaps nicely.
It could also be said that to tank, lancers never needed their new backstep either.
